Methodology

Not all of the groups, individuals and activities listed in the Catalog are purely Traditionalist. Many groups with only an incidental interest in Traditionalism are also listed, ranging from publishers who print books by the classic Traditionalist writers to journals and websites that discuss them among other topics. The entries for these "partly" and even sometimes "minimally" Traditionalist groups and individuals give a useful idea of the penetration of Traditionalism into more general circles.

More than 90% of the groups and individuals listed are in Europe or the Americas. Only 20 are from other regions of the world, which is probably an understatement arising for methodological reasons. Few if any European or American groups, however, are missing from the catalog.

Preliminary conclusions are that Traditionalism remains strong, especially in new areas such as Spain and Russia.

Updates to the Catalog

Updates are done irregularly but as frequently as possible, whenever my schedule permits.

I am always delighted to hear from anyone who has corrections or additions to suggest to me. Please write to me with any such information at sedgwick@traditionalists.org
